Hi there, I’m Alexandra, the chaos coordinator behind CPtsd Mommy—a trauma survivor, single mom, and advocate raising two wild-hearted boys, one of whom rocks life with Cerebral Palsy. The name? A mash-up of Complex PTSD and CP, because this life is a full contact sport—grief, advocacy, healing, and disability all rolled into one messy, magical journey.
After surviving abuse, walking away from everything, and restarting life from zero, I turned my pain into purpose. I built Pathways to Play, a grassroots nonprofit that provides adaptive outdoor recreational equipment and community connection to children with disabilities, empowering families with the tools they need to explore the world together.
This space is raw, real, and trauma-informed. I’m not here to sugarcoat motherhood or healing. I’m here to break cycles, build something better, and remind other caregivers they’re not alone—even when it feels like the whole system is stacked against us.
Stick around. Read the blog. Share your story. Join the movement. Because survival is just the beginning—and healing in community changes everything.
